Vice President of Sales.
iKnowWare is a dynamic, leading company in Business Process Optimization with an immediate opening for a Vice President of Sales focusing specifically on the U.S. market and targeting the telecom sector. We are headquartered in Metropolitan Austin, TX, and with operation in Dallas, Las Vegas, Phoenix and field operations in five other U.S. metropolitan cities. What you will need to qualify:
- 10 years of successful product / solutions software sales experience (concentrating on selling enterprise solutions within the U.S. marketplace.)
- Have sold enterprise software (ASP or deployed) and professional services into various markets.
- Experience with enterprise project / program management solution and / or other complex configuration-based enterprise solutions.
- Proven success in developing, modeling and executing for both direct and channel strategies.
- Strong knowledge of the other telecom sector and current success in selling customer facing, knowledge management solutions such as LCS and LM, CRM and / or contract center applications, preferably ones built on the Microsoft® platform.
- Solid understanding of the value propositions and technology behind hosted software as a service and deployed solutions.
- Proficient use of office applications and an understanding of the fundamentals of real-time communication, collaborations, synchronous and asynchronous content delivery and content management.
- Results oriented with a consultative approach to problem solving and solution building.
- Skilled in leveraging system integrators, creative in deal making and the technical where withal to pull it all together.
What you will be doing
- Overall coordination, functional management and leadership of all sales activities for the business
- Report directly to the CEO
- Develop the initial business in the U.S.
- Design and build from the ground up, a cohesive, collaborative sales organization and structure to support our growth
- Build and manage a sales team that can mimic and build upon success
- Sell enterprise software (ASP or deployed) and professional services in various markets
