Shannon Martin of TrainUtopia, iKnowWare Training and Courseware Developer
Shannon Lear Martin, President and CEO, is responsible for managing the overall operation of TrainUtopia, including the definition and direction of the company’s technological vision and strategic business goals.
Shannon has significant technological experience and management skills, having developed both as the manager of customer service for the MacOS and PC divisions of Power Computing Corporation.
As manager Shannon coordinated a full call center and was responsible for all aspects of the department’s training, including computer and soft skills. A core member of Power's staff, Shannon was instrumental in evaluating and restructuring internal business processes to improve customer satisfaction and quality assurance.
In her most recent position as Training & Development Liaison at 3M Company, Shannon was responsible for all IT training needs for two divisions located in Austin, Texas. In addition to classroom training, Shannon also developed training materials and technical documentation for internally written software applications.
Shannon earned a B.A. in International Studies from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas.
Maria Burud
Maria Burud brings nearly 20 years of sales and marketing experience in the technology industry.
Maria is President of The Zanon Group, a Chicago-based sales and marketing consulting company. She serves as advisor and chairperson to leading Chicago organizations, including the Chicago Software Association, The Chicagoland Entrepreneurial Center and the Women's Business Development Center. Maria takes pride in mentoring women and entrepreneurs in multiple industries.
Prior to founding The Zanon Group, Maria spearheaded Marketing and Sales for Placeware Web Conferencing, a Silicon Valley high-tech company. During her tenure she doubled revenues from $25 million to $50 million.
Maria also held several positions at Infinium Software (INFM), including Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing Operations. She served as General Manager of Infinium's ASP Business Unit in its infancy, leading the company from $3 million to $122 million over a 12-year period. (Infinium was later acquired by SSA Global, the fourth largest software company in the world.)
Prior to Infinium, Maria held various sales and implementation positions at Automatic Data Processing. She earned a bachelors degree from Loyola University of Chicago and has been featured in numerous publications, including CIO, Computerworld and Sales and Marketing magazine.
Bob Price
Bob Price, who has 30 years of business process automation expertise, has joined iKnowWare to take the paradigm power shift that the company delivers to national corporate customers and channel partners
Bob’s wealth of experience has been gained in the enterprise messaging/data/Internet communications, Web/video/audio collaboration and campaign management arenas. His experience encompasses HQ, director, regional, channel, field and ownership perspectives in the finance, travel/hospitality and insurance industries.
Bob’s Industry Revolution Solutions include Travel Booking Instant Fax Confirmation Services, Travel Agent Broadcast Fax Promotion Solutions, International Banking Automated Test Key/AS400 Integrations and Automated SMTP Fax Applications with AT&T EasyLink Services.
Bob (iKnowWare’s E-Gadget Guy) has always been a successful early technology adopter and industry solution visionary.
Joe McCormick, Logistics and Transportation
Joe’s Celtic System focuses on State and Federal Transportation and Licensing Divisions with the development, planning and support of transportation and licensing operations throughout the North American jurisdictions.
These operations include, but are not limited to, state vehicle and driver systems, both state and commercial Motor Carrier systems, safety administration and State and Local Licensing systems.
Joe’s continuous improvements on deployed systems are results of Domain Expertise in Logistics and Research and Development of new innovative ideas to assist the AAMVA (American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators).
Jeremy Tome, Technical Sales and Integration
Jeremy’s diverse background is balanced between computer science, with a focus on C++ Application development and Business Process Development with fortune 500 companies such as Goodyear, Lambs and AutoNation.
Jeremy enjoys answering the tough pre-sales questions and guiding customers through data integration and acquisition projects.
Jeremy works directly with customers to define their initial role and privilege sets, and begin to personalize the iKnowWare environment to the customers needs.
Jeremy lives in Georgetown, Texas and enjoys high performance automobiles.
